I recently started watching the CFL and I noticed how teams always look to pass the ball instead of running it. Is there an RB in the CFL? If so, what’s their role?

I posted a question yesterday, about CFL. And i asked where were they from. But i asked about states instead of provinces. It turned out that, most of the answerers protested to me, and some called me an idiot. Well, i’m not american nor citizen of any american country, so i didn’t know whether they have provinces or states.

So, my question is : Is it offending for you (if you’re a canadian), or them (if you’re non-canadian who know about canada) if i mistakenly say states in canada instead of provinces in canada so that they called me an idiot? Or is it relative?
