CAN SOMEONE TELL ME OF A SHOP THAT HAS A LARGE SELECTION OF ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR FOUNDATION.
IOT WAS O,.K. IN WINTER BUT NOW THAT i HAVE TANNED UP i NEED A DARKER COLOUR. THE SHOP ASSISTANT KEEPS SELLING ME COLOURS UNDER THE FLUORESCENT LIGHTS AND I HAVE WASTED SO MUCH MONEY., THEY ARE FAR TOO PALE . I LIVE IN TAURANGA NEW ZEALAND
I’m working on decorating a rented room. I have most of my stuff picked out - rug, wall hangings, curtains, etc. The issue is the fluorescent light in the middle of the room. It’s one of those standard industrial-style long rectangular panels that have two of the long light tubes inside of them - looks like http://0.tqn.com/d/electrical/1/0/Z/0/-/-/fluorescentfixture.jpg . The rest of the room is a more classic/elegant theme, and the light fixture stands out like a sore thumb.
What can I do to make the light less garish?
It’s a rented space, so I can’t make any changes that are permanent or would leave any permanent holes or residue. Hence why I’m not having it replaced.
The light quality itself isn’t the issue…the issue is that the fixture is up on the ceiling and I have to look at it, even if I don’t turn it on.
I’m installing dimmable ballasts in a new 4-bulb T8 strip light and I need to make sure that the tombstones are rapid start before I energize it. By searching for images of shunted sockets, it looks as though they only have 2 holes in which to insert a wire. However, I tested the resistance between the two contacts which the pins on the bulb will touch and got a reading of 0 ohms. I’m having a heck of a hard time finding a supplier who even knows what an unshunted socket is, let alone has it in stock. I can order them online, but if it’s not necessary I’d like to just use the existing sockets.
The current lighting in your house consists of 6 100W incandescent light bulbs, 8 75W incandescent light-bulbs and 8 23W compact fluorescent light-bulbs. These lights are on an average of 6 hours a day. Electricity costs $0.15 per kW/hr delivered to your house. What is the monthly cost (assume 30 days a month) to operate these lights? How much would be saved by replacing the incandescents with CFLs? If the bulbs cost $10 apiece, what is the payback period in months?
why cant you use an energy saving light bulb on a timer?? what will happen if you do?
